Da Kine Events was founded by two longtime friends, Shane and Ryan—media pros with deep roots in the event world and a friendship that started in a surprising place: an Arizona men’s league hockey rink. (Yeah, two Hawaiian-Asian guys bonding over a winter sport in the desert—go figure.)

Shane, born in Hawaii, and Ryan, raised in the hay fields of Gilbert, Arizona, but whos late father has ties to Hawaii share decades of experience in marketing, media, events,  production, music and entertainment. As newlyweds themselves (not to each other ha), they realized how stressful and expensive planning events could be. That sparked their mission: make event planning easier, more affordable, and way more fun.

Da Kine Events is a one-stop shop for photo booths, DJs, videography, pro-audio, catering and more. And if they don’t offer it? They’ll connect you with trusted pros they’d hire themselves.

What sets them apart? Pro-level service, clear communication, and good vibes only. No egos. No drama. Just a solid crew that shows up and delivers.

Ryan is a husband and father of two. Shane is married with three keiki. Outside of events, you’ll find them enjoying hockey, music, food, and the great outdoors.
